Water is one of the most compelling design elements in our homes; especially here in the Scottsdale area. Spanish Colonial, Haciendas and Mediterranean homes traditionally have fountains. Every home that Casas del Oso Luxury Homes has designed and built for the last ten plus years has a fountain. In our desert heat everyone recognizes water as the source of life and here it is a precious commodity. It is one of the four basic elements (earth, fire, air & water); perhaps that is the reason for its calming effect.
These are six of my favorite fountains. Some of them were built by us and some are built by others.
